Nemlig.com pushes the boundaries of grocery shopping with personalization
Nemlig.com is Denmark’s largest online supermarket. With the goal of creating a better life for the Danish people by providing access to all the goods they need in one place and delivering orders to their door, Nemlig.com desired to offer a relevant, inspiring, and 100% personalized customer experience to each shopper.
Nemlig.com partnered with Sitecore and IMPACT to offer personalization at scale. Using their previous preferences and buying history, nemlig.com’s new platform personalizes the front page, category pages, and search results for each visitor. In addition, the website now allows customers to transition smoothly between each of its over 1,200 recipes to purchasing the ingredients for it. With one click, all the ingredients needed are added to their cart. Nemlig.com also engages customers with individual messages through the site, email, SMS, and push messages.
The number of site visitors has increased by 55% and turnover has increased by 28%. The average basket size has also increased and Nemlig.com’s conversion rate is in the top class for the Danish retail industry.
