Bas er ansvarlig for hele styringen af Sitecore-platformen hos Achmea: Principper for arkitektur, retningslinjer for udvikling, alle roller og ansvarsområder, anvendelser etc. Sideløbende med projekterne har han undersøgt, hvordan IoT kan integreres med Sitecore, og beskæftiget sig med, hvordan integrering af kravsbaseret godkendelse kan foregå, og andre sjove og komplicerede udfordringer. Bas arbejder ud fra princippet om "need to share" og deler alle relevante oplysninger med faglige grupper og produktteams. Han er nemlig af den overbevisning, at hvis man investerer i andre, vil ens investering i sidste ende blive fordoblet.
