International scope, custom content
With more than 700 lawyers and 10 offices on four continents, Fasken has always been client-centric, but its former website failed to adequately reflect its scale, services, and vision. In fact, the former site was like a giant brochure—a one size fits all experience, loaded with 40,000 documents—all presented at the same level of importance and as such, difficult to navigate.
Fasken wanted a fully responsive site that accurately reflected its global scale and services and that would display relevant content for each visitor. As part of an overall rebrand of the 150-year-old law firm, Fasken engaged technology partner Sid Lee to redesign and re-platform its website. Together, they chose Sitecore.
New website creates advocates
Fasken’s new site is built on Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) with multilanguage support. The law firm created new attorney biographies and other high-value content and integrated the site with its Microsoft SharePoint application. Additional integrations provide global personalization and intelligent browsing. GeoIP identifies the location of the user’s IP address. Coveo for Sitecore AI-powered search and recommendation makes it easy, with fewer clicks, for users to find relevant content according to their interests, browsing history, and geographical locations.
Since launch, Faskten has seen an 8% increase in visitors and a 22% rise in session duration. Meanwhile, Fasken attorneys are capitalizing on leads captured via the new site.
