Sitecore Launches Public Sector Division

04-29-2019
By personalizing every individual’s online interaction, Sitecore will help government agencies provide the public with seamless digital experiences

SAN FRANCISCO, April 29, 2019Sitecore®, the global leader in digital experience management software, has established a new public sector division to support federal, state, and local government agencies in their efforts to provide the public with comprehensive and secure digital experiences. Clark Campbell has been named as vice president of Public Sector to lead the division and bolster the presence of Sitecore offerings within the public sector marketplace.

Campbell has more than two decades of experience helping government agencies harness the power of technology and a track record of successfully establishing public sector divisions at other companies. Prior to Sitecore, Campbell served for more than 12 years as vice president of Public Sector at BDNA, where he established the company’s government practice. Prior to that, he served for over a decade as the Army and Air Force Regional Manager at Oracle.

“Government customers, support contractors, and employees expect to have the same modern, accessible, and secure digital experiences available to them that they would find in the private sector,” said Campbell. “Sitecore already is a market leader helping private sector organizations to meet rising consumer expectations, and our rapidly growing public sector team is dedicated to providing world class technology solutions and services to help government agencies address their service delivery and customer experience challenges.”

Federal IT leaders, in particular, have a mandate to modernize their websites and the digital services they provide. The 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA), which became law in December 2018, requires public-facing federal websites to have a consistent look, as well as maintain an online and mobile-friendly version of any in-person government transaction.

Sitecore’s unified digital experience platform is ideally suited to support government agencies’ pursuit of efficient and secure digital services delivery. Sitecore’s industry-leading content management and comprehensive digital marketing tools—including analytics, personalization, automation, machine learning, and omnichannel delivery—are seamlessly integrated with a central repository of real-time, multichannel customer experience data. With the ability to deliver a holistic view of each individual’s engagement across digital channels, government agencies can deliver tailored, contextualized information in real-time to meet each constituent’s individual needs. In addition, the Sitecore platform is compliant with internationally recognized industry and regulatory security standards, supporting the government’s efforts to build public trust in the digital services it provides.

For the past nine years, Sitecore has been recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management and, for the past two years, the company has been positioned as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms.1 For more information about Sitecore, please visit www.sitecore.com.
