Techland creates multilingual web hub for add-on sales and user community
Techland is one of Poland's leading developers of computer and console games. To establish itself as a global brand, it needed greater control over the distribution of its products and other digital content. That required the company to create its own e-commerce platform that would let it customize its offerings for users by region, personalize and automate marketing campaigns, and make the purchasing process more convenient and secure for customers.
Working with Infinity Group, Techland created a new website, Gemly.com, establishing its brand in the global games distribution market. The site is available worldwide, localized for seven regions: Brazil, the European Union, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Great Britain, and the rest of the world (including the United States). The site creates a new sales channel for Techland games and is the only place users can find exclusive add-ons for those games. It also includes a community where gamers can gather to discuss Techland's games, which allows the company to gather information about user behavior to inform and improve marketing campaigns.
