Engaging Sitecore partner Empired, Globus upgraded to Sitecore XP 8.2 with xDB, and used Sitecore Connector to create an end-to-end solution integrating its ERP, CRM, booking, payment, and social media marketing systems. Customer activity on Sitecore feeds into the CRM to foster a single customer view driving creative, data-driven marketing and personalization. For the first time, Globus designed its web presence from a customer perspective. Using Nurture Paths, it mapped out three customer journeys: one for direct customers, one for customers booking through travel agents, and one for agents themselves. The solution records user activity and then applies business rules to deliver relevant content at all stages, from travel inspiration through tour research and booking.
