As the way in which people want to buy houses is changing, Meritage Homes decided to rethink how it operates, leveraging more digital opportunities to market and sell its homes. The home builder’s existing online environment included a very complex content management process, involving multiple systems and brittle integrations. Technical knowledge was required whenever the company wanted to update its website content. Meritage Homes wanted to maximize agility, increase efficiency, and enhance its digital capabilities with a more intuitive platform that empowered field marketers with the ability to self-serve.

Solution

A composable platform powers greater efficiency and agility

Jeff Nunn joined Meritage Homes to spearhead the company’s digital transformation. Meritage partnered with digital consultancy XCentium to build a new digital foundation on Sitecore Experience Platform with the composable Sitecore Content Hub DAM and Sitecore Content Hub Operations solutions. Meritage selected a headless, composable approach to provide the flexibility the company needed to go to market faster with enhanced risk management. As part of the transformation, Meritage has improved how the company connects and feeds information into the marketplace to drive sales and has initiated a complete redesign of the website.
