Earlier this month Sitecore announced that it had reached a definitive agreement to acquire Reflektion, an AI-powered digital search platform that understands and predicts patterns, context, and needs in order to help consumers better navigate the digital platforms of their favorite brands. Trusted by Tumi, Rite Aid, Levi’s, Big Lots and other top U.S. retailers, Reflektion enables Sitecore to engage, educate, and empower shoppers, increasing their confidence to make faster purchase decisions.
As of September 22, 2021, I am proud to share the news that this acquisition has closed. Part of our ambitious and ongoing $1.2 billion growth plan, Reflektion increases buyer confidence, long-term revenue, and overall customer satisfaction and loyalty. The company is an integral addition to our expanded portfolio amid the growth and importance of search, the cornerstone of a digital experience. Reflektion will help us meet consumers at that point in their customer journey, elevating and evolving search across every touchpoint into a conversational, guided, and tailored experience. This streamlines the search process to connect consumers more directly with exactly what they need, increasing customer satisfaction with more conversions and revenue.
The acquisition of Reflektion enables Sitecore to further accelerate its SaaS transformation into a composable digital experience platform with best-of-breed solutions that span every facet of content, experience and commerce. The company furthers Sitecore’s expanded vision to disrupt the market with innovative solutions that turn consumers into fans, bringing them closer to the brands they love while establishing everlasting bonds with those they’ve newly discovered.
Today’s close follows three other important acquisitions, starting with Boxever and Four51 in March 2021. By bringing them into the Sitecore family, we are better able to provide a holistic view of every customer to create consistent, continuous, and highly personalized experiences across every touchpoint, turning experiences into competitive advantages. Two months later in May 2021, Sitecore announced the acquisition of Moosend, a company that perfectly complements our industry-leading core offering to create a personalization powerhouse for modern enterprises.
These acquisitions are a critical part of our growth strategy. We are now excited to leverage Reflektion to reinforce Sitecore’s position as the leader in digital experience technologies that meets customers in the moment with more relevant, intuitive, and human experiences.
We’re eager to share our vision for Reflektion and our other recent acquisitions at next month’s Sitecore Symposium. Join us on October 5 and 6 for our biggest digital marketing event to learn more about the road ahead for Sitecore and how you can connect digital experiences with physical.
