New Changes in Sitecore Discover’s Email Recommendation Controls

A: Email Recommendation controls are moving from the old version of Reflektion workbench to Commerce Engagement Console (CEC).
Formerly known as Reflektion, Sitecore Discover has become an integral part of our composable DXP. Our team has been working hard on creating some new and exciting changes and updates to the product. One of them is the migration of Email Recommendation controls.
What was once available in the workbench of the legacy version, Email Recommendation controls are now moving to Discover’s Commerce Engagement Console (CEC). There is no action required for current customers who use the Email Recommendation controls.
Q: What exactly is changing?
A: Email Recommendation controls are moving from the old version of Reflektion workbench to Commerce Engagement Console (CEC).
Q: Who is affected by this change?
A: Sitecore Discover’s current customers who use the Email Recommendation module are affected by the change. However, there is no impact on campaigns that are currently running.
Q: As an Email Recommendation module subscriber, is there anything that I need to do to prepare for this change?
A: There is no action required for this change. However, as you continue to operate and manage email recommendations in the future, you will want to get familiar with new CEC controls for Email recommendations. Don’t worry – the functionality remains the same. The only difference is the look and feel.
Q: When is the changing taking place?
A: We are conducting a segmented migration of client rules and settings in close coordination with our customer success managers (CSMs). Your assigned CSM will be reaching out to share more details on the migration, including when your account is expected to be migrated, and how to locate and use the new controls. We are planning to roll out the new Email Recommendation Controls to all clients before the end of June 2022.
