How VITAS used Sitecore to transform its hospice care before the pandemic 

VITAS provides hospice services with the mission to deliver compassionate experiences to families in need. In 2019, VITAS was on the Sitecore platform, but the organization struggled with its implementation; it needed to enable Sitecore Experience Database™ (xDB), improve performance, and stabilize environments to innovate like other companies were doing. VITAS worked with Perficient to succeed in those areas, integrate Sitecore with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and start leveraging relevant data to deliver higher quality care for its patients. The CMO was empowered to justify the investment and plan for future innovations.
