Powered by Sitecore, Benjamin Moore website gets a high-gloss makeover

Benjamin Moore & Co has formulated premium paints in every hot, warm, and cool hue for more than 130 years. Until recently, the company’s website didn’t quite embody the high quality and artistry of its products. At a time when everyone in the industry was focused solely on building robust online color tools, Benjamin Moore wanted to tantalize customers with an immersive new web experience that richly reflected its brand.

Benjamin Moore reached out to Sitecore partner MXM to design and build its new website on Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) 8.1. MXM designed a stunningly visual user journey to engage the senses and express the historic, quality-focused brand. The new website incorporates a sumptuous full-screen homepage video, gorgeous photography distributed across the site, and streamlined, elegant UX that conveys premium quality that’s worth the price.

A persona-led content strategy supports Benjamin Moore’s primary audiences: consumers, contractors, architects, and designers. All four segments look for beautiful, inspired color choices, but their needs are different in many ways. The new site serves all audiences a common content experience around brand, color, and products, while providing separate areas for professionals to access tools and information specific to their business.
