To stay competitive, LB Forsikring needed to ensure its website and self-service portal delivered great digital experiences for both existing and potential members. With a small development team, the firm also wanted to simplify management of its digital capabilities and empower marketers to manage online resources for themselves.

LB Forsikring’s website supports more than 200 visitor searches every day, but the company’s legacy index-based solution was failing to return results 50-55% of the time. With no way of tracking user activity after these failed search attempts, LB Forsikring was concerned that poor user experiences could result in frustrated members and lost business.

Using Sitecore’s SaaS technology, the insurer has enhanced self-service, empowering users to find information for themselves faster and more easily. LB Forsikring has achieved a 113% improvement in search result responses, with results returned 96% of the time. It has also reduced the burden on IT and development teams, as search capabilities are now managed by marketers.

Sitecore technology has helped LB Forsikring enhance agility with a five-fold increase in the frequency of website updates, and 72% faster time-to-market for new features, reduced from 110 days to just 30. The insurer has also reduced website defects by 82%, improving the user experience and safeguarding security, and automated approximately 8,000 tests to further decrease development time and effort.
