Scope of These Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to the Sitecore website located at www.sitecore.com and all other Sitecore owned and/or operated sites, including secure areas of these sites (collectively, “Sites”). These Terms of Use also apply to any and all interactive venues provided on the Sites such as blogs, community forums, chat rooms, discussion sites, virtual assistants or knowledge centers, where you can upload, download, share, email, post, publish, transmit, or make available content (collectively, “Online Community”).
Some areas of the Sites, or Content provided on or through the Sites, may have additional rules, guidelines, license agreements, user agreements, or other terms and conditions that apply to your access to or use of that area of the Sites or that specific Content (including terms and conditions applicable to a corporation or other organization and its users) (collectively “Additional Terms”). The Additional Terms are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use, and if there is a conflict or inconsistency between these Terms of Use and the Additional Terms for a specific area of the Sites or for specific Content, the Additional Terms will take precedence with respect to the subject matter of such Additional Terms.
You represent and warrant that any information that you provide in connection with your use of the Sites is and will remain true, accurate, and complete, and that you will maintain and update such information regularly. You agree that if any information that you provide is or becomes false, inaccurate, obsolete, or incomplete, or infringes trademark or copyright laws, Sitecore may terminate your use of the Sites.
Your Privacy
At Sitecore, we understand the value of data and the importance of protecting it. Sitecore’s Privacy Policy sets out details about Sitecore’s privacy practices, both online and offline. Sitecore collects, uses, processes, possesses, and otherwise stores information about you and your use of the Sites, including website browsing data and Personal Data (as defined in our Privacy Policy) that you submit to Sitecore, and may share such information and data with third-party service providers for the purpose of providing or improving our products and services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Sitecore will enter into written agreements with all sub-processors containing data protection terms that require our sub-processors to protect Personal Data in a manner at least equivalent to Sitecore’s data protection practices. A list of Sitecore's current authorized sub-processors is available upon request. For the purpose of data minimization, Personal Data will only be shared on a need-to-know basis to fulfill the data-processing purpose as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Personal Data may be stored globally in accordance with our Privacy Policy, however, Sitecore will not perform any cross-border transfer of any Personal Data unless there is an approved transfer mechanism in place.
Sitecore maintains sufficient and appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of processing systems and services. Upon becoming aware of any incident or breach relating to the security of your Personal Data, Sitecore will notify you without undue delay and will provide information as it becomes known or as is reasonably requested by you. Sitecore will also take reasonable steps to mitigate and, where possible, to remedy the effects of any security incident or breach. Sitecore will provide reasonable assistance to you, at your expense, in the event you are required to notify a supervisory authority or any data subjects of a security incident or breach.
Sitecore will provide reasonable cooperation to you (at your expense) needed to fulfill compliance obligations under any applicable laws (subject to certain information being redacted and confidentiality agreements being executed), to assist you with your own data protection compliance obligations, such as performing data protection impact assessments or participating in prior consultations with supervising authorities or other competent data privacy authorities. Sitecore will also provide reasonable assistance to you (at your expense) to comply with any obligation arising from any request to exercise the rights of a data subject that may be applicable, and will in a timely manner execute data handling requests related to written contractual agreements executed between you and Sitecore, such as file transfer and deletion requests.

Nothing contained on the Sites should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use any of Sitecore’s Marks or its affiliates’ or suppliers’ trade names, trademarks or service marks without Sitecore’s express prior written consent.
Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe in good faith that someone has wrongly filed a notice of copyright infringement against you, the Copyright Acts permits you to send Sitecore a counter-notice.
