As part of a company wide business transformation, Taeko Yamamoto has led Fujitsu’s corporate website refresh. Using Sitecore, Fujitsu moved to centralized content management and created reusable components. The solution has reduced page creation costs and speeds up time to market, while enhancing website UX and increasing customer engagement by 33%.

According to the engagement measurement in Google Analytics 4, the engagement on the top page of the new website has increased by 33%. The new website delivers a seamless user experience, with consistent branding and messaging to support Fujitsu’s business strategy.

Solution

Stronger governance for a centralized content management

Yamamoto and her team centralized the production process with Sitecore, enabling stronger governance and better quality control, as well as speeding the learning curve for content editors. Fujitsu is replacing the legacy site’s 80,000 inconsistent pages with 14 templates in Sitecore, and is now presenting a unified brand image and targeting customers with the most suitable content for users, re-designed based on their journey.

The shift to become a Sustainability Transformation and Digital Transformation partner of choice has meant a company-wide overhaul from internal systems, to organizational culture. To help drive this transformation, Taeko Yamamoto, Corporate Executive Officer, EVP Chief Marketing Officer, is working to revamp the company's presence by delivering an integrated brand image and message through a seamless digital experience in order to communicate new business strategies and value propositions to users at this digital touchpoint. On the traditional corporate site, each part of the organization created its own content, resulting in inconsistent quality and messaging that didn't deliver the right message to the market. The company needed to centralize its content management and production processes, and improve message consistency and quality.
