How SitecoreAI Pathway streamlines your migration progress
SitecoreAI Pathway automates the extraction, mapping, and migration of your content from your old structure to your new site structure in SitecoreAI. The tool uses AI to analyze your existing site structure, group similar pages and components, and suggest mappings to your new SitecoreAI environment. You can review and edit the extracted data before finalizing the migration, ensuring accuracy and alignment with your newly optimized site design.
What can you migrate with SitecoreAI Pathway?
- All languages configured in your source site.
- Each site is migrated individually, giving you flexibility to manage your migration at your own pace.
- Media library assets must be migrated using the XM‑to‑XMC migration tool and templates must be recreated by the customer in the SitecoreAI environment.
What’s not included?
- Workflow states, personalization rules, analytics data and custom modules or integrations are not migrated. These elements should be rebuilt in SitecoreAI to take advantage of new capabilities.

Requirements and limitations
- Only Sitecore sites are supported for migration at this time; support for non-Sitecore sources is expected by mid-February 2026.
- Migration is a “one site at a time” operation; repeat the process for each site and language as needed.
- The tool assumes you have already designed your new target site structure and components in SitecoreAI.
