Business Ethics

Thanks to the trust of our customers & business partners, as well as contributions of every Sitecorian, we are growing exponentially. We want to continue to conduct business ethically, honestly and with integrity. For this reason, we have developed policies, guidelines and processes to ensure we achieve that goal.

Code of Business Conduct

The first and foremost is our Code of Business Conduct. It applies to everyone in the Sitecore community: employees, contingent workers, contractors, officers and directors.

The Code defines expectations of how we conduct business ethically and clarifies what is and is not acceptable behavior to maintain our personal and professional integrity. When used in conjunction with company policies and procedures as well as common sense and good judgment, it creates a common framework for decision making and serves as a reference to help solve ethical dilemmas.

For our customers, the Code helps to understand Sitecore’s values more and is a snapshot of our internal processes and a strong compliance culture.

Compliance Training

We provide our personnel with onboarding and annual compliance trainings related to such matters as data privacy, cybersecurity, anti-bribery, conflict of interest, modern slavery, working with third parties, anti-harassment, diversity & inclusion etc. We are proud to maintain our completion rate at 100%. These compliance initiatives aren’t mere box ticking exercises, we ask our personnel to live compliance in their daily lives.

As part of the compliance training, we also ask Sitecore’s personnel to read, acknowledge and agree to follow the Code.

Modern Slavery Countermeasures

We at Sitecore understand that modern slavery and human trafficking are real threats to human rights in the 21st century, and every business should be principled in fighting it. Although Sitecore’s industry is not at a high risk of modern slavery, we’re constantly working on our internal procedures and implementing new tools to make our contribution.

Our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is developed in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act, it is applicable to the whole Sitecore group.

Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption Compliance

Sitecore has zero-tolerance for bribery or corruption. This principle is cemented in our Code and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy. The latter establishes in details the appropriate business practices and behaviours that comply with global anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws. To learn more, please check our Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy.

The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact

Sitecore has signed up to the UN Global Compact - the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. This is a commitment by Sitecore to operating in ways that meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. By incorporating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into strategies, policies and procedures, and establishing a culture of integrity, we are not only upholding our basic responsibilities to people and planet, but also setting the stage for long-term success.
