Supplier Compliance

An important part of Sitecore compliance program is working on our supply chains and making sure we comply with the best standards and make all possible efforts in this regards. As a fast-growing company, Sitecore is committed to expanding with one eye on compliance. We take care to only establish relations with companies or individuals that follow ethical standards compatible with our own.

Supplier Code of Conduct

The cornerstone of this drive is our Supplier Code of Conduct which was developed to set out our basic expectations of Sitecore’s suppliers. These are requirements in relation to:

  • laws and regulations adherence;
  • conflict of interest;
  • labour practices, including diversity & inclusion promotion and harassment & retaliation prevention;
  • privacy, data protection and cybersecurity, including adherence to Sitecore’s Privacy Policy;
  • sustainability and environmental consciousness; and
  • protection of physical and intellectual assets of Sitecore.

The Supplier Code provides that any violation of it may result in immediate termination of any contract between supplier and Sitecore. To find out more, please check the full text of the Supplier Code.

Modern Slavery Countermeasures

We at Sitecore understand that modern slavery and human trafficking are real threats to human rights in the 21st century, and every business should be principled in fighting it. It is vital for us that our suppliers are not connected with these threats in any way.

For this reason, Sitecore does not select suppliers based purely on quality of service or pricing but also considers location, reputation of suppliers, and supplier business practices. Sitecore undertakes risk assessments of potential suppliers as part of our supplier onboarding process.

For further details, please check our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement which was developed in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act but is applicable to the whole Sitecore group.

Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption Compliance

Our Supplier Code sets out that vendors must comply with all applicable anti-corruption and anti-money laundering laws, never participate in bribes or kickbacks of any kind.

On a related matter, we take care to ensure that third parties who act on our behalf do not engage in corrupt practices on our behalf. Generally, such third parties must never be authorized or permitted to circumvent Sitecore's requirements, values, and principles. To find out more, please review our Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy.

Sustainability

Doing business is more than just numbers, goals and metrics. It is also about making efforts to be a good citizen of the corporate world. Sitecore and our suppliers constitute one community who implement and cherish such values.
